Lilly - A Cup full of spring
I didn't know if this shade would work for my deep skin tone when I made my first order from Emme Cosmetics - but I took a chance and Boy was I happy. This is such a lovely shade of lilac. I love that although Emme Cosmetics mattes are soft, they are not too powdery - on the contrary they are quite buttery on the skin. In particular, this shade of lilac sort of just blended itself right into my skin - the blend was so easy and effortless that it appeared as if I may have natural lilac colored eyelids. On my deeper skin tone (Fenty 445) the Lilly shade does become deeper and a bit grungier when I blend it closer to and into my crease. The shade is was to build up and as I am booting that Emme Cosmetics mattes are very pigmented and have great depth, I work with a lighter hand when using it as a transition shade. This is something that I greatly appreciate from the brand because usually with some lighter shades like these - they tend to look a bit ashier and dry on my skin - not with Lilly though! This shade confirmed to me that I was good to purchase more of the lighter matte shades featured by the brand because the formula would allow better blending on my skin.
Loove thiiis shade of purple
Very good matte!
I was so impressed with this shade, when I snatched it I literally gasped it was so pigmented, smooth, and beautiful! It's kind of grippy, so it blends better over a set base. I definitely want to try more of the mattes now.
